A tasty tech experience

Qantas epiQure was launching a gourmet food offering to their normal catalog of fine wines. The brief was to find a way to showcase the new gourmet items while not detracting from the wines at the launch event.

IDEA

For generations fine wine has been paired with fine food. We wanted to pair the new gourmet food products with the fine selection of Australian wines the Qantas epiQure offers.

At the launch event, guests would walk around tables of produce and wines. We created premium look and feel, to properly showcase such fine fare, and rolled it out on pull-up banners, tent cards, flyers and in an app to be used at the event.

The app beacon technology to notify guests of the products they were passing. Each product would have a suggestion of a Perfectly Paired item and then give the guest a discount for ordering the bundle. Eg. If you passed a Bruny Island Cheese, you would be paired with a nice Tasmanian Pinot Noir.
